I remember meeting Pat when I was twelve years old. He blistered out a rendition of " Cat scratch fever" complete with lead. We went to eighth grade together at Circle View. I was jealous of his constant positivity and optimistic out look on life. Though I haven't seen Pat in a few years I would find myself wondering where life's path has taken him. I give him credit for my never playing guitar, for after seeing him play at such a young age I knew that I could never be anywhere as good. I stuck to sports instead. Pats probably exchanging licks with Hendrix, Vaughn, Allmen and crew. God never seams to have enough great guitar players. Thanks Pat, you'll be dearly missed. When we met up again can I be greeted at " The Gates " with you playing "Cat's Scratch Fever"?

i went to high school with pat, and was a drummer in a heavy metal band. pat's parties always rocked and ours sucked. i hated that! but pat was always gracious and never did the "i'm better than you" thing that always seems to happen to young musicians... he'd even stop by some of our parties and hang until he could'nt stand it anymore... (there were two pat knowls' at marina high f.y.i.) i was deeply saddened to hear that a great musician, a cool guy, and one of the best smilers is no longer with us.
